Job description:
• Provide the client with the appropriate support on the call to meet/exceed expectations.
• Responsibility for supporting the client on the call during scheduled events
• Responsibility for timely installation, possible problem determination, troubleshooting, problem resolving and service activation in cooperation with internal and external resources
• Complete new installations and implement both logical & physical changes on IP networks
• Utilize and update circuit and network management databases in conjunction with the provisioning process.
• Install and activate Cisco & Juniper hardware at new locations
• Test and troubleshoot LAN/WAN connections
• Implement physical (hardware replacement, upgrade) and logical (network design change, configuration update, IOS upgrade) changes.
• Disconnect closed locations
• Maintain databases
Requirements:
• Fluent English language communication skills are required including proficient writing ability
• CCNA certification is highly desirable
• Strong EVPN ability
• PC literate with experience of a range of software packages including MS Office
• Knowledge of communication technologies and networking technologies e.g. TCP / IP, Routing protocols, LAN, WAN technologies
• Sound knowledge of Routers, Bridges, Multiplexers, and Switches
• Experience with Cisco & Juniper router and switch configurations Service
• Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining high quality and keeping one’s cool
• The ability to interact on the phone with customers and peers during the implementation and troubleshooting process
